Labels/Pages and How to Use Them
Hello Berkley!
I see that you added a label to your first post. On our blog, I had the labels so our viewers could see who wrote which post. So for my posts, I would label them Alexis, for Anna's posts, Anna, and so forth. You can add many labels but you have to separate them with commas. Once you have the labels done, go to Layout and then click the little grey pencil on Labels. Make sure that there is a checkmark next to "Show Labels." Now you can mess with the settings until you like them. On your blog, if you click the three lines at the top left and click Labels, you can see all of the labels and the posts that have been labeled that way.
Pages work like labels but are harder to set up and look better. Follow my instructions carefully. First, go to Pages. Create a page. You can type whatever you want, it won't show up yet. Click Publish. Now go back to Layout and find the Pages gadget. It might have a grey eye with a slash through it. Choose the grey pencil and check off the checkbox that says Show Pages. Find the checkbox next to the name of your page. Check it off if you want your page to show up. You can also change the bar that says Home to something else. "Home" will be all of your posts. Now if you look at your blog, the pages should show up at the top. When you click them, you'll see the pages and the things you typed.
Bye!
